Coconut Fragrant Rice (Nasi Lemak)
With Mak Tok’s Signature Chilli Paste
1) Set the roasted peanuts and Mak Tok’s Signature Chilli Paste aside. Easy-peasy!
2) Wash and slice cucumber. Set aside.
3) Place the eggs in a pot of boiling water and cook for 7 mins. After that, immerse them in cold water before peeling off the shells. Set aside.
4) Wash and rinse the anchovies. Heat up the cooking oil and deep fry the anchovies for 2mins under medium heat. Remove and drain anchovies from the wok before setting it aside with the other condiments.
5) Scoop the warm rice onto a plate. Add as much or as little condiments as you like.
